CAT track skid steer

Discussion in 'Heavy Equipment' started by ProWorkz.com, May 19, 2005.

  1. How hard is it to change a rubber track on a CAT rubber track skid steer? I am thinking about purchasing a rubber track CAT skid steer and was wondering the steps needed to change the track. Also what does one track cost? Thanks.... :)

Hey Cat226 I'll get some info on that for you my dad works for Cat! I've been running heavy equip. since I was 13, I've got to say I'd run a 276 (rubber track) machine over a wheeled machine any day of the week. Their stable on the ground, no bounching the fillings out of your head, handle grading or traveling on slat slopes, mud not an issue. But like I said give me a day or two and I'll get the right info you need. :waving:
