HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THIS ?????
CARBON BUILDUP IN A PLOW TRUCK !!!! IMAGINE THAT !!!!
I was told today that was why one of our plowtrucks had started to ping now and then and give out a puff of blue smoke. The mechanic (not mine) said it was due to carbon build up--so I said, what can I buy and add to fuel to get rid of it,, he said that I should get it good and hot, then dump water down the carb SLOWLY, why holding the idle at around 2000--I was amazed,, then did alittle checking myself and I guess you can also use trany fluid. {please} TELL ME,, IS THIS REALLY THE STUFF THAT WORKS...

    THANKS
    KINDLY

Yes, I've heard of it and done it on my 350 Chevy. Back when I had a carbed vehicle. Now I use GM top end cleaner for my 03 GMC. Similiar to Sea Foam or products like that.
