I'm using salt from another supplier this year and it has no colored dye on it so i am having a hard time seeing it when spreading. Any ideas on what i can do to see it a little better?
    Thanks Mike

Wow I thought I was the only person with this problem. I installed some lights right on where it spreads. The biggest thing that helped me was getting glasses haha.

Wonder if there is anything I could dump in the Salt to add color because I still wish I could see it better

I open the window and listen...

I have LED flood lights, on the back that shine back and to the sides, you'll pick it up better to the side of the truck. A beam light doesn't light it up enough for my eyes.

Pee in the hopper before spreading.

I bought some of that red tape for taillight repair and put it on one of my trucks spreader light. It makes the salt glow red. Pretty neat!

    amber led flood

I have two amber LED Flood lights mounted on each side that I bought on Ebay, I believe they are made by Truckstar/Buyers , work very well no matter what color salt.
