Is there a way to change the overdrive default so when you start the truck the tranny stays with the overdrive off instead of on?

The vehicle in question is a 2004 f250 auto gasser, but have others I would do it to if it worked out well.

Out of curiosity, why would you prefer O/D to stay off? I'd guess fleet trucks and guys towing with them?

Pretty much. You can't fix stupid, but you can reduce it. Just one less thing for them to remember after a long night.

I would think it is a computer issue, but I'm sure you trick it with a delayed trigger hooked up to start circuit, or run a giant idiot light on the dash for when the OD is on.
