Can the seal in the lift cylinder be replaced?

The lift cylinder on my Trip-Edge RT3 has been leaking a bit lately. The cylider looks to be in great shape otherwise, so I was hoping to simply replace the seal rather than dishing out ~$200 to replace the cylinder. Are these cylinders servicable?

Yes they can be rebuilt, a buddy of mine just had his done. Not sure what it cost him, but it was a lot less than a new cylinder. Bring it to your local hydro shop and tell them what's wrong with it.

Just did the lift cylinder on my western, cost me $7 for the seal kit, nice to have a helping hand when replacing if you don't drain the fluid
