Hi guys, I'm a new member and was wondering if I could get some help on this. Could someone please try to identify this Fisher plow setup for me and what it fits? I'm pretty sure that my dad (now passed) had it on his Chevy full size pickup. I would like to know what years it would fit and thought some of the experts here could help. I just found it in my tucked away in the garage. It's been there for a while and is in like new condition. Please see pic. Thanks in advance! Any info would be greatly appreciated

The answer is just under your nose.

It is a belt driven speed cast plow. late 80's early 90's. Unsure of mounts....Maybe Dodge.

Missing the plow, a few lines, three rams, 2 cables, a control manifold....Maybe a few other things.

If they are Chevy, probably 89 and up IFS trucks. Those long pieces in the bottom pic run from the push plates to a rear crossmember.

    I think LOL.....

I think (if I remember correctly, but not counting on it) that someone once told me that it may be for a 70's to early 80s full size Chevy/GMC...but can't confirm that, I've been all over the Fisher site and didn't find much info regarding any of their older stuff.

got that setup on my truck . 73-87 or 91 blazer/suburban/crewcab/cab chassie

link to 1/2 ton light duty mount http://www.fishersnowplows.com/pdf/6220_113090.pdf

link to 3/4 ton and 1ton hd mount http://www.fishersnowplows.com/pdf/6217_111390.pdf

frames on truck the same but plows offerd diffrent to gvw specs.

here is were i find my info http://www.fishersnowplows.com/publications.asp?cat=112

and you have a rare set of plow frame braces that suport the lower frame section to the middle of the truck frame to spread the load out on the truck frame.

that upper frame section for the lift triangle has me thinking a bit along with the rare braces . might be somthing a little diffrent. but i know the main truck mounts are as i listed by the looks of them .

    nice clean unit there. wesport

if you dont want it and have a way to get it my way let me know . would make you a good offer on all of it. my zip 14845

Wow! Thanks for the great info sweetk30. Make me an offer. I was planning on keeping it, but seeing what it fits, I really have no use for it. I'm in Providence, RI. That's 377 miles away from you. Haven't shipped anything this size or weight before but open to suggestions... Thanks again!

That's a Quik Switch plow that I think came off a 1973 to 1987 GM truck.
