Can someone identify what model this spreader is??

    My buddy asked me what model this spreader is and im not sure. Also anyone know how much this holds and if there any good? Thanks

    I guess that's a Western sticker on there. Probably a 500 model. My understanding is they are OK for very dry, coarse salt. No sand.

    I would agree on the western 500 as I have a western 1000. I spread a salt/sand mix with mine and it works great....as long as the material is DRY

    that's a Western ProFlo. I wanna say it holds the same capacity as the 1000, maybe more. I know someone that runs bulk through one, as long as it's dry. You need special mounts for the truck to mount it (either the custom hitch or bed rails I believe).
