Have a dilema.....may buy a 02 duramax 2500. Currently have 97 F350. I need a new plow and have to go Boss. Western 'dealer' here doesnt even stock springs. Anyways if I buy a new plow it has to be a 9' 2" poly, will a 2500 hd support that?

I'd suggest the gussets as well. Going to put them on mine next year.

You're crazy if you want to put a 9.2 on a 2500HD with the Duramax ;)

I just put a 9.2 poly on my Dmax on Friday. 700 pounds of salt against the tailgate and it's getting a 2.5" leveling kit this week and the gussets

Also, to the OP, if its an 02 it very may well have factory UCA gussets.

Im looking to buy a 2009-2013 gmc hd 2500. I want to get the fisher xv2 9.5 foot blade do you think it would be real tough on the front end or if add heavy duty springs should i be fine. Or should i get a 8.5 and add the wings??? Or should i get the boss dxt!? Give me some opinions thanks!

Just buy a truck with a solid front axle and you won't have to worry about it
