Can FF be used in place of other Rust protectants?

My 98 K3500 was treated with Ziebert somewhere in its past as it has all of the holes drilled in various locations and plugged with plugs that say Ziebert on them. I don't know what the stuff that Ziebert uses is like but can I take the plugs out and squirt FF in there instead without creating any problems and how does FF compare to treatments like Ziebert? Thanks.

You sure could just spray Fluid Film in the holes. In that type of enclosed environment you will get years of protection, perhaps indefinite.

    Hey Dano,

Is it safe to say that when using FF as a rust proofing we don't have to worry about getting all the moisture out like we would with normal paint products?

You could apply Fluid Film over a damp surface and it would still work. That's not an issue.

Fluid Film has been around a heck of a lot longer than me. I'm not THAT old. I do believe that you, my friend, are a few years older than me...:p
