If it is a classic (old) body style, you can put a 7.5 lightweight plow on it. If it is the new body style, you can't even put a plow on it. This is for legality purposes. Your Diesel is 900 lbs. heavier than the gas engine, so you'll be way over your front GAWR by putting a plow on. Get in an accident, and it's your a$$ in trouble, as western only allows you to put the 7.5 ft lightweight on the old style truck, and nothing on your new truck. Go to www.westernplows if you would like to see for yourself, and click on the "powermatch" program.

Ya he is right, but who is going to put a 7.5ft lightweight plow on a HD2500? Find yourself a good dealer, and he will put the plow on for you. Crank the Tbars, maybe a set of timbrens and forget it.
