I have an old cable operated fisher on my 89 toyota p/u. I can't get it to angle by the joy stick. I have put on new hoses, 1 new cylinder (1 used but still good). I changed the quick connects at the end of last season. What am I doing wrong. this is driving me crazy.

Does the motor run you try to angle? If it does look at the vlve the cablle hooks to and see if it is moving. Try this and let me know.

is this all hydrolic no wiring? If so make sure your cable to valve body moves. You can disconnect cables and move with pliers .Cable could be broken at joy stick also or unhooked
  4. Check cables the 2 places they hooked up at see if are broken.
