Last winter I bought a 86 K20 to use as back up, looking at recently the cab mounts on drivers side are pretty rough. Do they make replacement panels fro these? or time for new cab or junk truck. other than this, truck only needs a wheel bearing, runs & drives beautiful otherwise. What to do...any advise, how long does a cab swap take, with identical cabs?

They do make replacement cab mounts,as well as a host of other cab repair panels. It will require a lot of cutting and welding to put them in.

A cab swap isn't hard either, you just need to take everything off, both inside and out.

Would I have to remove cab to replace mounts, or just put up on stands?

The cab mounts, and most of the floor and rocker supports can be done easily on stands. No need to remove the cab.
