Over the years I've noticed my '95 Dodge 1500 with a 7.5' Meyers will get the power steering fluid hot. Hot enough the fluid will smell burnt and turn a brownish color. I added a power steering oil cooler to the return line and flushed all the old fluid out but it will still have a burnt smell to it at the end of the season. Synthetic fluid helps but still smells burnt. Anybody else ran into this?? For the last several years, I've just been changing the fluid at the end of the season.

    Thanks all
