I am looking for some ideas for storing bulk salt 20 tons during the winter months. I have seen some people use metal storage units some use the fabric portable garages. What your opinion what works what does'nt work and for those who use the Metal storage trailer units any problems

    salt storage

You could store less than 20 tons and simply
transport the trailer to be filled at the salt loading
point with a telepscoping loading tube from an
overhead bin with or without a scale

I have a thread here showing pictures for salt
storage wihth examples showing very small
bulk cement trailers that can be moved with
    single axle trucks.

The very small cement bulk trailers keep
everything off the ground, have thier
own power units and limit moistures
effects on salt and cement as it is not
    in contact with the ground.
