bulk salt in pa.

    anybody have a supplier for bulk salt in pa?? Getting tired of cutting open the 80#'s already and its only Dec. Just weigh out the options of maybe getting a v-spreader. What kind of price is the bulk salt going for now?

    Im in Central Pa also and could use some bulk salt. Im in Centre County. Anyone know of any place let me know. Shouldnt be too hard as Pa is a leading Salt mine state. I havent done too much searching really. but i hate going to the supply house to find they only have 25 bags left. thanks

    I am in York County. Check out International Salt. I think last year they had a place up by you guys or someone distributing for them. I also have a pal up that way, I'll give him a call and see where he gets his at and pass the info to you. PA being a leading salt producer, you would think Salt distributors would be as commom as Sheetz stores:)

    As far as I know, PA does not have any salt mines. The only salt mines in the NE are in NY.

    There are plenty of depots where salt is stored, either by rail, barge or truck. And even ship if you go into Philadelphia.
