Break Problems

I have a 1992 Ford Explorer, and I can't keep front brakes on the thing.

I've replaced one of the calipers, both rotors once, and replaced the pads 3 times.

The rotors keep cracking, and I can't figure out why exactly.

I'm thinking the calipers are sticking, and when I drive through water the cold water hitting the hot rotors causes them to crack.

Anyone else had this problem? Was it the calipers sticking, or something else?
