brake problems squeak

    any one have any problems with 03 f250 sd front brakes squeak when hot and only on slow stops and how did you fix it thanxs

    Have same problem on 06 F550. Curious, as of course the dealer couldn't replicate.

    dealer said same

    i changed front pads rotors and calipers and they still squeak its not a stoping problem just apain in tha ass noise with only 17000 on truck

    We have the same squeek on 04 F-650 and 06 F-750 dealer says its all in the make up of the pads when they heat up and is common...lol so common that the left front cracked the rotor in two...Ford tough my but!

    You need to check the lower caliper slide pins. They are known to rust/freeze and when the calipers get heated up they expand and cause the pads to drag on the rotor.
    The cracked rotor is an indication of overheating.
