brake lights

    i lost the brake lights on our 05 trailblazer. not the upper 3rd light, just the two. i replaced the sockets with new ones from oreillys and they worked fine for about 5 days, then nothing. not working again. any sugestions here?

    Did the fuse blow after you replaced them?

    Do you have a trailer plug? if so look for corrosion in the plug grounding out the brake lights.

    Where is the best place to buy the rear driver and passenger side break light socket assemblies for a k2500 1998 8600gvw 5.7?

    no, the fuse did not blow. they worked for about 5 days, then nothing again. i will check the trailer plug. it had a adapter in it and i took it out. i will check it out.
