brake light problems

    having a terrible time with the brakelights on my 85 blazer. got power on both sides of the switch, but none at the tail lights. could it be a turn signal switch? someone please help!!!!

    the switch could prevent the lights from working check all fuses as well

    Check your ground as well, also maybe the bulb. or check the plug where the harness connects to the tail lights

    Do the turn signals work? It will change where you look for the problem. If they work and you have power on both sides of the switch then you have a break somewhere from the switch to the stop lights (from the switch to where the wire intersects with the turn singnals on the rear.)
