Have a boss v- plow. Plow works great, but when pushing snow I can not push either wing forward to the scoop position. Pump is running. When I put plow down on the ground in the v position, it wont push wings forward either. If I lift plow off ground when i'm not pushing snow, it operates just fine. Any help would be great.

Did you check your hydro fluid level?

Sorry, yes the fluid is full.

It just acts like there isn't enough hydrolic pressure to push it forward under load.

Pump pressure might be set to low? What year is the plow?

Sorry I'm not a pro on adjusting the pump pressure, was just throwing it out there as an idea. I think there is an allen screw under a plug on the pump, clockwise increases pressure. BUT without a gauge to check and see what it is currently set at it would be best left to your dealer so you don't set it to high.

There should be a filter/screen that you can clean also.

Have a strong person walk next to the truck and push the wing forward on your command! -Resolved
