does it trip a lot... a couple of days ago i was working with a smaller fisher plow and even the tiniest bumps in the driveway would make it trip

No it doesn't trip alot. In the few experiences I have had this winter, it tripped only once, when I hit a covered grate in a parking lot.

It went over speed bumps, paving bricks and seems in the drives just fine. At this point being a newbee, I'm really careful about my speed.

also I took pictures of my lots prior to plowing them, so I knew where the obstacles(sp) were.

    Hope this helps.
