I see everyone raving about how good the v plows are but...Am I better off buying a beat up boss v or a better shape straight blade? Is the Boss Quick Tach, 8'2" V Plow the first generation? Is this the plow that will not except a new edge without some fabrication? Learn me please. Thanks

I went through the same dilema when I was deciding between a V or a Straight. I went with the straight 8' poly and have been very pleased. For large lots and roads, the straight is awesome. However, I also have an apartment complex and now realize how much faster a V would be for me.

    What attachment is it?

    RT1
    RT2
    or RT3?

RT1= conventional mount ( permanent mount lift and light frame, chain lift)
RT2= first "Rapid Tach" Boss had.. (no chain and had twin lift cylinders)
RT3= Current production "Rapid Tach" ( will have a single lift cylinder, no chain lift)
