How much could i expect to dish out on a straight blade? Vee? Also, on the site it says a 1500 could hold a vee? Does this sound right? It must need timbrens.

What size plow are you looking for and is it going on the 1500? You could go with a 7' 6" vee blade on the 1500 but yes, you might want to add a set of Timbrens.

no matter what blade you throw on, timbrens would make a big difference. and as Kevin said, a 7'6 would be your option for a V.

I would go with 7'6" steel since they're lighter. I would probably put it on a 1500.

    We've got a K1500 short box with 7-6 V

    Yes needs Timbrens
    Serious tires (BFG All terrain T/A's LT265 75 R16's)
Serious ballast (350 lbs aft of the rear axle)
An operator with good sense about close quarter maneuvering

For that you get a light truck that can out turn anything but a skid steer wesport
