We installed a new truck side mount and wiring for a RT3 smart hitch 2 on a 1987 Chevy 3/4 ton truck to have as a back up unit. Heres the problem the mount on the truck sits 3" higher then recommend and it wont allow the plow to power attach it appears that the ram wont extend far enough to lock in place and when we got it attached(took a lot of work) there are gaps under the plow blade when scoop vee or angled the truck has stock front suspension tires are a little big Lt 285 75 16 but i dont think that would make that much difference Has any one encountered this problem ? any help would be great

Undo the center part of the mount and lower it the 3" you need and it will correct the on and off problem and also change the attack angle on the plow so it sits flat and cuts properly as well and not tripping all the time because it is to agressive.

Take a pic and post it, and well let you know what we see.
