Boss 9.2 vblade Hinge point Snow loss

    this is our first post, looking for information best way to install hinge point kit. It came with 2 hardened metal pieces that weld on to each side of the cutting edge. How would they attach, the instructions that came with them were not very explanatory. We still have a lot of cutting blade left. Has anybody come up with a better way to fix this problem? Thanks

    NO, but I'm sure B&B does. He is the Boss expert in these parts.

    Welcome to plowsite. Have you seen the new style cutting edges from boss? If not the new ones are all formed and have no rubber snow catcher in the middle. They also have curb gaurds on them. Again they made a cutting edge from 1 piece of steel for each wing.

    The 2 pieces you have would get welded on just like the new style cutting edges. Here is 2 links to help you get a better idea. The 4th pic in the first link shows really well how they are supposed to go.
