I am looking into purchasing a cheap bobcat in good mechanical order to simply load salt.

What is the smallest i want to go? 753, 763.... etc.
It will be loading pickups with snowex's, and sidewalk crew bins so high lift is not important.

I use our 773, with the dirt bucket it is fine, with the snow bucket (1 yd), you have to be carefull how much you put in it. I would use what you can find for the right price. The worst case it may take an extra bucket to load up, no biggie. I have found leaving the machine outside seems to keep the rust down compared to inside, keep it full of fuel though. I was lazy last season took over an hour of playng around to get it going, & its never fun bathing in diesel fuel.
