Hey guys I'm looking to put a 810 blizzard on my 13 Chevy hd
And don't know much about blizzard plows so I'm looking for advice. I found a great deal on the setup but the mount is for a ford, I have always had boss and western so I guess my question is the the blizzard plow is a little older are all the mounts still the same? I'd probably just end up buying a new truck side equipment

Nope, you will have to modify the mount.

Call jerre, he will take care of you.

Ph1? Assuming dd is Douglas dynamics
The plow is older so I'm guessing before it went to dd?

You will need a newer 8100 blizzard or a modified 810 mount to fit your newer Silverado.

So like was said, either new style blizzard or modified mount

What all entails for the wiring? Can you just get the headlight adapters like the boss or do they use a ISO module?

Main harness on the older 810 are universal, not sure about the newer ones.

You will need the adapters for the lighting.

Do a Google search for Jerre's service and call him tomorrow. He can answer all your questions and ship you everything you will need to make the 810 work on a newer GM.

It no big deal at all to do. I did my 2012 Chevy 2 years ago. As for the wiring you will need to use a ISO module but they make a adapter that plugs into the ISO and use ph1 headlights. I used the 2012 blizzard mount and cut down the push bean from my 04 ford welding new end plates on to slide into the frame. Research the blizzard on this site I posted pictures of the project.
