Anyone know anybody running a 810 on a Ford 350 ext cab. Is there any problems they are having? Did they have to do any mods. to make it work? Thanks

I don't personally know anybody, the truck would have no problem with that plow. If it does not have the factory snowplow prep package you may want to consider a higher AMP alternator and a transmission cooler. The front end should be fine with no mods.

I have a Ford f250 with the 810. The truck handles it just fine. No mods. The plow does a wonderful job.

NEW......One of our "plowhead " bros... Fred has a new F-350 reg cab. long box gasser. He has a big Blizzard with the expandable power wings. Sorry forgot the model # tho.

I watched it being installed....Simple bolt on with no mods except for drilling a few holes and a little mod on the air dam.
But that would happen with just about any plow make anyway!

He loves it and reports no regrets !
Funny........His new net handle is "Get wide baby!"
Hes prob. had every plow brand in his fleet at one time or another. He says his next plow will be another Blizzard..................geo

Hey where in NY are you ?......Syracuse and Alex. Bay NY here !

2000 F350 X-Cab with V10 120+K and still plowing. 810 power plow hanging on it since new. Sidewing and Snowman Back Blade used with it too. ONLY regret......Go with the Power Stroke if your doing alot of heavy snow pushing. V10 does the job but the PSD works less to do the same thing.

Did you have to make any mods to your truck??? Thing ways 950lbs. How about putting anything in the bed to even it out???
