blew trans

    I dont have reverse in my 90 k5 blazer anymore. and my trans shop is out for 2 weeks because of fixing the building, what can i do?:realmad:

    Its either a shovel or another tranny shop..

    find a rebuilt tranny swap it in. have shop rebuild yours and save as a back up.

    There's the other obvious answer of rebuild it yourself......

    Seriously- I knew someone who drive a car without reverse for 3 years- couldn't afford to have it rebuilt. What a PIA- gotta park where you can drive out.

    Call a junkyard, swap in a cheap used transmission, and have yours rebuilt.
