blade settling

    i just bought a older boss v plow 96 or 97 model the problem is the left wing will settle back when plowing and in transport if you angle the blade all the way ahead you can watch it settle back twords the truck im guessing a valve of some sort is bad can anyone help

    It is possible that the left wing retract valve is damaged. This is the valve that has the red/black wire attached to it. A quick test is to pull the coil off of the valve. If it is tight and difficult to remove the valve may be damaged. You can also swap it out with any one of the other valves except the one with the black wire (smart hitch valve if so equipped. I would recommend the valve with the green wire (right wing retract) to see if the issue follows the valve.
