I have never ran a direct system. Every crew I have been with ran Myers and one guy had a Westen. I'm wondering will a direct ride the pavement as quick and what about brake downs???

Less bounce going down the road with a direct lift, also chain lift can ride up over a pile easier. I own both chain and direct, I honestly prefer direct lift but really don't make a difference.
