When I got started I thought I was big time for having spare plow pins and a hose.

Then I got a spare E-47 electric motor.

At one point I had a complete E-60 laying around. (we all grew up on Meyer, guys)

    We’ve had spare blades, too.

A Chevy salesman told me about a plow company that had just come in and bought a ¾ ton pick up just for a spare. I was 21 then, but this still impresses me.

Yup im just starting out with an old Meyer set up, constantly looking for spare parts.

One day i'll look back and remember, just like when I started in the lawn business.

If you own a Dodge you don't need a spare truck is right!

Just a relative that owns a trans shop! lol

    big 3 share truck parts

What is really funny is the big 3 use the same truck parts. For many years GM and Chrysler made standard transmissions and transfer cases at the New Venture Gear plant in NY. This was a joint venture.

Hope you all had a good Christmas... there is snow in our forcast... that makes it better !!!

Why are you guys kicking Meyer?
My Dad,Uncles and I have had nothing but Meyer plows and we have had very few problems! Mines 16 years old. I guess owning Fords makes us even stupider!
Do not beat them and maintain them you could have the same outcome!
