I heard 3 weeks ago a guy who predicted 11'' for Friday February the 11th. I don't know, it seems to me something is going to happen. It is already predicted snow showers on Friday and some people are mentioning a "northeastern" :yow!:
Anybody heard anything? I am dying to get out and make some payup

...a Potential Winter Storm Will Affect Southern New England Later
    This Week...

A Weak Storm Moving Out Of The Ohio Valley Wednesday Will Bring Rain
And Snow To Southern New England As It Moves Past Wednesday Night And
Thursday. It Is Too Early To Know The Exact Details Of The Upcoming
Storm And The Track It Will Take. However...it Has The Potential To
Bring Several Inches Of Snow To The Region By The Time It Winds Down
    Thursday Night.

Rain And Snow Are Expected To Start By Midnight Wednesday Night And
Continue Into The Day Thursday. In Sections Of Southern New Hampshire
And Northern Massachusetts The Precipitation May Fall Mostly As Snow.
As The Storm Passes East Of New England...it Will Draw Colder Air
South Across The Region...turning The Precipitation To All Snow
Everywhere. The Snow Will Then Taper Off Thursday Evening...except On
Cape Cod And The Islands Where It May Linger Until Friday Morning.

The Storm Will Pass During A Time Of Astronomical High Tides. These
Tides May Combine With Rough Seas To Produce Minor To Perhaps
Moderate Coastal Flooding Along The Eastern Massachusetts Coast.

In Addition...north Winds May Increase Rapidly Behind The Storm
Thursday Night Along The Coast...and May Last Into Saturday.

This Potential Storm Is Still A Couple Of Days Away...leaving Plenty
Of Room For Changes In Both Its Eventual Track And The Resulting
Weather. It Would Be A Good Idea To Pay Attention To Later
Statements And Forecasts. Stay Tuned To Noaa Weather Radio Or Your
Local Media For The Latest Information.

Once again, it looks like the storm might drop a few inches up here in north-central Vt but most of the storm is supposed to miss us. Every storm this year has gone north or south of us. The most we've had in a storm is 3" or 4". Should have enough to plow though.

I hate to ruin your fun but that prediction is for my area, not the east coast.

    Awwwe shucks

Now why did you have to do that? Us East Coasters have not had any action for so long we were all getting high on just the thought of some white fluff in our direction!

There is still the possibility that we may get some of this snow in NJ, they are saying it depends on the track it takes (of course). We could get wolluped or it could just rain like heck. Great! I think I'll get prepared anyway, better prepared than not. They will know better tomorrow(Wednesday). Weather, via National Weather Service
