Greetings all, I am going to upgrade my plow lights this off season and I was wondering what y'alls opinions are on the "best" plow lights. I currently have the stock western's on my plow, the rectangular ones.

Any thoughts??? I was thinking HID.

I upgraded to the Night Saber II's last year and have been quite happy.

    Yes, flat out awesome.

I have a couple different ones from TruckLite but I have these on my truck and love them. First time in 30 years I've actually had decent lighting to the front. Even the dims outdo any of the others I have tried, but I have never tried HID's, and won't after using LED's. Too much hassle.

Those work OK until the lenses get smoked up. Unless they changed something.

Not sure about a change.... My older Night Saber 1's seem like they would fade (smoke, milky-ish ect). I have only had the II's for about a year and a half now but the lens seems harder and clearer, hopefully they don't lose their clarity. I think I'm going to make covers for them this year to protect them from the summer sun as I don't have inside storage yet.

I bet they're less than HID's. And they are a lot less hassle.

Mine were all stored inside and it didn't matter. And they were II's.

I see a guy who has the new style Fisher type but he has HID's in them and holy crap are they bright! Too bright, he blinds everyone when he's facing you. My stock ones on our Fisher's are just fine once you adjust them.

Nighthawks are like a lighter compared to LEDs or HID's. I had those before the LED's.

Thats why you turn them off when you drive. And my buddy has them never got a ticket yet he's had a light bar for the whole season.
