Hi, I have a conventional fisher with the belt driven pump and I am wondering if my pump needs replacing or is it something else, the problem is that the blade is very slow to raise and angle unless I step on the gas peddle but sometimes when I lift up on the joystick the blade will raise up half way and then start going down until I hit the gas to get it fully raised. The fluid level is up to the full mark as well.

Also this pump was bought new almost 3 years ago.:help:

Are you sure the belt isn't slipping?

if you cut the tank and pull the pump out
separate it and face the body off to tighten
the clearances that should fix it.
