Basic Hydraulic question

    07' 860SW

    Replaced a seal kit/pump shaft seal and now the motor seems louder. Maybe because it isn't full of fluid anymore. Should the resivoir empty when angled. Mine keeps the same fluid amount in the resivoir when angled.

    Either you have air trapped in the system or you're low on fluid.

    The level wont change when angled, because the fluid just moves from left to right . Raising the plow will lower the tank level, same with the 810 when wings are extended.

    fluid should stay same but I can say I have had air before. i would look into it.
