Ballast ?

    Does anyone know how much ballast I should use in my 89 W250 with an 8' meyer. Its a long bed p/u regular cab?:confused:

    You should have 350-400 Lbs. Behind the axle. Make sure it is secured good so if you have to get on the binders hard:cry:

    I am probably going to you 2 or 3 concrete curb stops behind my wheels so they fit between the wheel humps and the tailgate. I am guessing about 200 pounds each at least...

    I would go with the 50lb bags of sand. You can load and unload easy by yourself and if one does come loose it will not come through the cab
