Awesome job Bad Luck! That truck sits great with the torsions turned up and Timbrens on. I'm going to just crank up my torsions this week and see how it sits at that point, will add Timbrens if needed.

    Nice looking set up.

    Thanks man thanks!

If now I can only get over worrying abou tevery little creak I hear I'd be ok!!

Every bump in the road I hit make me cringe with fear for my poor truck!!

I love the set up though.

A few points for those installing one of these yourself:

    1) When in the final adjustment stage, adjust your lift chain right after you fill the pump with oil prior to lifting the blade as the instructions tell you to. I didn't and stretched the crap out of my spring, need a new one now.

    2) When mounting the push plates I found it much easier to insert the bottom bolts first.

    3) Cable ties and Dielectric grease are your friends.

    4) Dear GM, please make these trucks with higher capacity steering pumps. Under 3 MPH I cannot turn my wheels!

Awsesome rig. Gotta love the combination of a black Chevy with Fisher Yellow. Now I really want a new truck.

Did/are you putting the valance back on the truck?

My '96 doesn't seem to drop any more than yours without Timbrens or T-bar tweaks.

Nice combination of Maine products in the early shots too. Poland Spring and Fisher certainly go well together.

wfd44 - I'll be triming it up tonight and putting it back on. I wanted to see if I could get used to the truck without it on but that's a big fat negative.

I don't get it. You would think that as the trucks get newer they would make them with equal if not better suspensions. I wish I didn't have to add the timbrens or crank. DO you have 5.7 in yours or a 6.5?

Excellent Job, especially with the front end mods, you are obviousley not one of those stupid people whop drives around with the front end on the ground. I agree with you, why can't they make suspensions better with time not worse. The 04 F-150 does not carry a plow nearly as well as earlier models. Truck looks great, hope you get some snow soon!
