I am getting a new plow on my second truck, wondering if I need a backdrag blade on there?

Do you need one? I plow parking lots, so I don't have one.

You don't need one unless you do an excesive amount of back dragging. I have 4 trucks and I only have a back drag edge on one of them. Needless to say my routes get set with that truck in the area that needs the most back dragging.

Well worth the 2-300 dollars if you do ANY back dragging.
