back-rack back-ups

    "new guy" here looking for advice on where to mount back-up lights on a back-rack. i've heard somwhere that if you go too high you can get glare from the snow. i've also heard too low will give too much shadow. i have a reg. cab chev. and like to look out back window too. any expert advice would really be appreciated- thanks!

    little glare from them filling the bed with light no noticeable shadows.
    the lights are great very very bright

    I have them on the back rack and under the bumper. Durring snow events i turn off the uppers as the tool box collects snow and causes a blind area out the rear window.

    mounted mine at the back off the bed to avoid glare
