Aux Battery

    2 questions:

    Anyone ever put an auxiliary battery in an 04 and newer F150? It looks like there could be a spot for one on the drivers side in front of the coolant resorvoir.

    When hooking up an aux battery, do you just simply run leads to the main battery?

    Yes, positive to positive, negative to negative.. That would be in "parallel" as they call it, You can run the ground of the second battery to the engine or frame, best place would be where your plow grounds if you have one.

    Okay, cool. It seemed too simple for that to be it. I'm sure I will need to beef up the alternator too.
