Finally Remembered to upload the clip I took of a friend and I riding at his house this past weekend. Nothing special just out for some fun and getting some use out of my helmet cam.

I'm on my 03 Suzuki z400 and he's on an 87 Honda 250x. My jetting is off a hair and my float height was messed up so it was giving me some trouble that day.

Posted a comment, before the misshap of slidding into him:rolleyes: Heard the carb giving you issues right after that.

That's your friend's house yard? You so lucky to have that kind of space. I pretty much gave up on doing anything offroad when I moved back to IL from Colorado.

I forgot you can embed vids on here.
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/q5WHyy6Ay70&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/q5WHyy6Ay70&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Ya, not quite sure why he decided to turn around there, lol. I locked all 4 tires up but the loose gravel made me slide. Obviously no damage done to either machine.

They are on 5 acres with the atv trail going around the perimeter of all it. At my house I've got a 5ac hay field with some jumps, a trench, and 2 banked corners in one area of it and then about 2 1/4- 2.5 acres of lawn to tear up. And when the crops are off there is about 65 acres at a friends house that we can rip up. Last year it was beans so once they were harvested it made for some great fun out there. This year is corn so it won't be as much fun since the corn stubble beats up the machines much more then the short bean stubble does. And there's always other friends houses with tracks that I don't go to much, just a few times a year. I'm pretty lucky to have room right outside our shop door to ride my atv and then quite a few places within 10 minutes of my house to ride.

Here's an older vid of my house.

Took more this past weekend but I didn't realize the camera was tipped a bit on my helmet until afterwards :(

There is a lot of area's around here that an atv would be pointless and live in your garage most of the time. But I'm fortunate enough to be far enough away from chicago that there is still a lot of open land and places to ride.

Haha, If you've got an atv there's a possibility. But by the time you'd get here someone would have broken an atv or themselves and we probably would be done riding for a while, lol. We never plan ahead to get a bunch of people together, always spur of the moment and start making phone calls to see who is all up for riding. We'll ride for 2 or 3 hours and by then someones atv is either broke or someone has crashed so we call it quits for the day.
