Cool, I want a backup spreader that I can throw in the back of a truck. I have heard such good things about the Salt Dog and I'm leaning that way, just not so sure about the poly hopper.

CNY scapes...that's an incredible price, i guess because they make then up there in NY.
thier price to Dayton Ohio (which means i have to drive 4 or 5 hours to pick it up as there are no dealers close to St. Louis) is for a series IV
    304 stainless...........$5468.00
    201 stainless............4756.00 1.75 cu yard hopper

    304 stainless..........6115.00
    201 stainless..........5409.00 3.0 cu yard

dual electric controller for spinner and conveyer add 550.00

if CNY's price is correct i may try to drive to NY and pick it up direct..it wouldn't cost me $1000.00 + in gas <G>
