Anyone use LED reverse lights. Im temped to buy them but am not sure if there are more or less good for markers than actual flood lights. Let me know what you guys think. I like the idea of Flush mount in the bumper but am not sure on what light I should buy. http://www.awdirect.com/back-up-lights/ <----which ones would you choose. Thanks in advance
I upgraded one of our freightliner day cabs to the oval style grommet mount LED lights for the stop/turn/tail. I put the same style light in place for the reverse light, and it really doesnt even come close to the light output of a regular style bulb. I swapped it out for a regular sealed beam grommet mount bulb and the driver is very happy
I have led oval grommet reverse lights in the bumper of my 350, but Im not sure of the brand. They put out enough light to make backing up easier and hooking up trailers at night, but they are no means a work light.
I have the Flood light tractor style ones and love them!
