Anyone rent out equipment?

    Hey all. have some inquiries about renting my mini excavator for both daily and or seasonal.... whats the deal insurance wise doing something like this?

    you would want them to add you on there insurance binder and also have equipment replacement value incase they screw it up and roll it or something...so if they hit someone or damage it they wont come after you. i wouldn't do it... i lent my skidsteer out to a "friend" and brought it back with the boom on one trailer and the skidsteer on another. Stupid ass was trying to pry up a huge stump and they snapped.

    Check with your insurance co and see what they say. They may even have a form for it.
