Anyone know how i can seperate a SNowex spinner from the shaft

    ive tried lube and heating it up, this thing wont budge

    I've heated them red hot and never had an issue.

    Maybe torch i was using isnt hot enough

    Red hot. Might have to use rose bud to heat the spinner up fast so heat don't travel to the shaft.

    and caution. once the metal as hot as it needs to be ("white hot,") an inexperienced operator can turn a rose bud in to a cutting torch in a heartbeat.

    IMO you need to take them past red they need to be almost to the drop zone.

    I still think it's cool (after 45 yrs) how steel that hot seems to glow.

    im not a professional i dont have an actual torch with acetylyn and oxygen.

    I was using a little camping propane tank with a torch attachment

    Your gunna need heat. Maybe try a mechanic shop, or welding shop in your area

    ok guys finally got it off, small problem the bearing and the gear came out i, put it back in just theres a c-clip or snap clip and im not sure where it goes anyone know ?
