Anyone have issues with new or nearly new Slik-Stick controllers

    Several friends have had issues with controllers being as new as 3 months old. The common problem seems that the plow wants to go left instead of raising if you push the toggle up. If you have slight pressure to the right as you go up, it will always go up. Then to top it all off, Meyer seems to not have any in production. they have been backordered for the last couple of months.

    contacts inside switch are aluminum & get burned , disassemble switch (very easy) clean contacts & apply dielectric grease to contacts , i had same problem no power to solenoid for up ?? red wire i think , anyway was slick stik , after applying grease to contacts all fixed , used it last three snows no problem

    switch works but the nut to hold it in the bracket loosens up....hate to use a lock tite on it
