A friend told me that he had a problem with the lynch pins , that hold shoes in place, coming off during plowing activity.I was wondering if any of you had this problem and what you did about it. I was thinking of a straight shank pin with a hole in it then placing a cotter pin through it or 2.) a nut and bolt or maybe it was just his situation. Thanks Dave.

Nope, never had a problem with them falling off.

I still have them after 4years with the original clips.

I don't know why I even have them on? I never use them..

Only problem I have with shoes coming off is the smell. :)

Seriously if you use a nut and bolt make sure it is a grade 5 or better. Some of the crap coming out of China would snap if you breath on it.
