A unimount might be hard to fab up givin the proper dimensions and angles needed. Still can find the proper mounts around tho

I have built my own truck side mounts for 80s chevy frames. But I start with uni mount frames that I have laying around the shop so the hook ups aren't compermised. There's a lot of these around still, with all the time and buying steel imo I think you would be futher ahead to hit craigslist and buy one. Good luck!
