    hey guys do any of you have suggestions on retro fitting a meyer plow frame from an 82 dodge to fit a 86 chevy. the frame is too wide. im thinking of just welding it directly to the truck. and suggestions. i do have access to a welder and a cutter.

    Fabricate some brackets. I don't like welding directly to he truck.

    Don't weld it directly to the truck. Take some heavy plate and build some brackets that will bolt to the truck then weld the plow mount to them.Welding on a truck frame weakens it and you may want to remove the plow mount someday.
